The 100 fans may someday get to see the Bellarke 'ship come to fruition.

Richard Harmon Becomes Series Regular On 'The 100', What's Next For The City Of Light Story?

It looks like Lexa tossed aside her chances of a Clexa relationship when she choose to save the Grounders at all coasts, but a romance between Clarke and Bellamy still may be in the cards. The two Arker leaders were separated for much of season 2, finally reuniting in time to bond over some mass murder.

And right there you have two of the main reasons why Bellarke has yet to happen - timing (broth proximal and in relation to Finn) and emotional baggage.

You Can't Prepare For The Shocking 'Pretty Little Liars' Finale, Marlene King Explains

"[The finale] had amazing moments between the two of them," series creator Jason Rothenberg explained to Zap2It. "Bellamy and Clarke have obviously grown to depend on each other, they need each other. They're like two sides of a coin. But the timing has not been in the cards. It has not been right, and she's still not there, she's still not able to have a romantic relationship with anybody, as she said to Lexa."

Also, at the moment, the duo is busy hanging in the platonic love stage. Loyal to one another, Bellamy and Clarke do care deeply for each other, but the romantic spark is not quite there yet.

"I think that they do love each other, but it's not romantic yet, obviously," Rothenberg said. "That doesn't mean it won't be someday."
