Beacon Hills' has said goodbye to a depressing number of characters over the last four years, but series creator Jeff Davis promises an old face will make a come back in "Creatures of the Night."

"We're always trying to find ways to bring faces back, so you'll see a surprise in episode 1 actually, but I don't want to give away too much," Davis teased at Paley Fest, according to Seat42F.

So, who could it be? The dead have a habit of resurfacing on Teen Wolf, but we'll focus on those who left the series without being placed six-feet under -

Ethan (Charlie Carver)- Aiden (Max Carver) kicked the bucket courtesy of the Oni, but Ethan is still alive and well. After his twin's death, Ethan left Beacon Hills behind, but he could easily make a reappearance.

Isaac (Daniel Sharman)- Derek's beta followed Mr. Argent to France following Alison's death. Sharman recently finished a run on The Originals and is booked for the pilot of LFE, so a one off sighting could be in the cards.

Gerard (Michael Hogan)- we'd rather not see evil grandpa Argent, but he is still alive (as far as we know).

Jackson (Colton Haynes)- Haynes is busy with the Flash but Jackson still in London. Will the expat head back to California?

Cora Hale (Adelaide Kane)- Kane is also on a CW series (Reign), but in the Teen Wolf world she is hiding out in South America. Derek may not be in season 5, but Cora could always make an appearance.
