Sources for pop sensation group One Direction have confirmed that Zayn Malik has quit the 1D tour and is returning home to his family in the UK amid cheating rumors.

The news comes after a series of rumors took over the Internet claiming that the 22-year-old singer cheated on his fiancée Perrie Edwards.

Mirror UK reported that the singer took a photo with a fan and after being slammed by social media for cheating, he says he needs to return home to deal with stress related issues.

Malik took to Twitter on Wednesday night to respond to the rumors and he's making it clear that his fiancée is the only woman he wants.

"I'm 22 years old... I love a girl named Perrie Edwards. And there's a lot of jealous f---s in this world I'm sorry for what it looks like x", he tweeted.

A spokesperson for the band said, "Zayn has been signed off with stress and is flying back to the UK to recuperate. The band wish him well and will continue with their performances in Manila and Jakarta."

Another source told The Sun, "Zayn finds it tougher than the rest of his band-mates dealing with fame. Having his every movement scrutinized causes great anxiety and the pictures which surfaced with the fan yesterday was the final straw."
