After a fun-filled vacation in Mexico, Dakota Johnson has returned to Los Angeles where she might be on to a fresh start.

Dakota Johnson Attends Christian Dior's Presentation

On Sunday, Daily Mail posted some photos of the 50 Shades of Grey star as she returned from a Mexican getaway with her actress mother, Melanie Griffith, and reality star Kris Jenner. Johnson can be seen in a white outfit with sunglasses looking fairly pleased to return home.

Johnson went to Mexico for a girls time away, which could have been beneficial since the actress recently split from boyfriend Matthew Hitt. And now that she's back in the United States, she may have reached a solid point where it's time to start over.

Is Dakota Johnson Taking Things Easier On Herself Amid Breakup?

In a previous report from Hollywood Life it was mentioned that the actress's big film of the year could have been one of the reasons why it didn't work out with Hitt.

"[Dakota] has been way too busy to focus on any attention to her relationship and Matthew totally shut her out of his life because of that," a source said.

As it turns out, Hitt was allegedly not pleased that Johnson signed onto 50 Shades and he was apparently not happy with the results that came from her being involved.

"He hated that she took the film," the source said. "He hated all the talk and rumors that she was in a relationship with [co-star] Jamie [Dornan] but that was obviously all in his head."
