A lot about the third season of Mistresses has remained a mystery lately, but one minor detail has been revealed on when it will return.

On Saturday, a Twitter user contacted Rochelle Aytes, who plays April on the series, to ask what's been happening with the series. The actress mentioned that it's a summer series and it will be back in June.

Even though this was already an approximate time on when new episodes would air, this narrows it down to a more specific time.

Alyssa Milano Resigns From 'Mistresses'

There was a lot of news about the show previously when it was announced that Alyssa Milano would not be returning to reprise her role as Savi. This left a lot of questions on how this would work since Milano played one of the main characters.

As it turns out, Savi will be replaced with another character named Calista played by actress Jennifer Esposito.

Milano announced her departure from the series in a statement, posted on The Hollywood Reporter.

"After two wonderful seasons in Los Angeles, the studio has decided to shoot season three of Mistresses in Vancouver, Canada for financial reasons," the actress said. "It's with a heavy heart that I have decided that I can't relocate. I have two babies under four. Being a mother and wife comes first and I just cannot uproot my children and separate the family by moving away. I will miss this job desperately and I wish everyone the absolute best."
