Justin Bieber's Mom Dating "Bachelor" Host Chris Harrison?

Pop sensation Justin Bieber may be getting a new stepfather in the near future.

Pattie Mallette, mom of Bieber, went on a date with Chris Harrison, host of ABC's "The Bachelor."

The two were set up on the Tuesday night date by "American Idol" host Ryan Seacrest.

According to E!online, Mallette and Harrison spent the evening at a Justin Bieber concert.

The date must have went well as the two have took to their respective Twitter accounts to share the news.

Mallette tweeted a pic of the two on their date saying and expressed her enjoyment: "Had a great night w @chrisbharrison! Thanks @ryanseacrest for setting it up."

Harrison followed with his own tweet of approval: "Huge thanks to @justinbieber @pattiemallette for an incredible night. Huge cool dad pts! Great show!"

The last tweet came from Seacrest who replied to Harrison's post saying, "Does he get a rose?" Seacrest was referencing Harrison's shows the Bachelor and Bachelorette's where the roses are given to potential mates of choice.

Mallette has had a rough time finding a supportive relationship as she was a single mother to Justin Bieber. In her book "Nowhere But Up: The Story of Justin Bieber's Mom," Mallette discusses the dark side of her life which included having a bad relationship with her alcoholic father and being sexually abused by other men.

Harrison is a bachelor himself after separating from his wife Gwen in May. The two were married for 18 years. The reality television host talked about being back in the dating game saying that it "scares the holy hell out of me."

Looks like Ryan Seacrest can add matchmaker as one of his many job titles. Depending on how things continue, Harrison might not be a bachelor for much longer.
