Fans of the Spice Girls could soon be rejoicing and dancing to some of their favorite 90s tunes once again, as the famed girl group may be planning a special reunion for their 20th anniversary in 2016.

Emma Bunton, more affectionately known by fans as Baby Spice, recently hinted that the group might be considering a special reunion to celebrate the anniversary of their breakout hit, Wannabe, which celebrates 20 years next year.

And though Bunton has previously denied the rumors that any possible reunion might be in the works, she appears to have changed her tune now, saying that scheduling conflicts may be the only thing that keeps her, Melanie Chisolm (Sporty Spice), Melanie Brown (Scary Spice), Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice) and Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice) from performing together once again.

"I was with Geri and Mel. B just recently, we love each other and we love performing together," she said. "It's just when the timing is right because we all have our own careers no and we have families, it's just about getting five schedules together and that's all it is."

The group previously reunited twice back in 2012, performing first at the closing ceremonies for the Summer Olympics in London, and then gathering together for the launch of their musical, Viva Forever, in December.

The group had several chart-topping hits in the 90s which expressed messages of empowerment for women, including Wannabe, as well as other hits including Say You'll Be There, 2 Become 1, Spice Up Your Life, Too Much and Forever.

The group also released a universally panned film, Spice World, in 1997.
