They've been dancing around their mutual feelings for one another for a while now, but Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) and Adrienne (Judi Evans) will finally give in to their temptation for one another on Days of Our Lives.

Lucas and Adrienne Clash Over Problems With Will and Sonny

The two began to notice the chemistry between them when they started watching their granddaughter Arianna together, and things only grew to be more intense from there. They refused to fully give in to their feelings however because Adrienne is still married to Justin (Wally Kurth), no matter how unhappy the marriage is. The two did previously share one kiss, but never did anything further afterwards.

However, now that Justin is once again back in Dubai, leaving Adrienne alone, and admitted to his wife before he left that he slept with his assistant while over there, Adrienne has been struggling. Added to the tension, she and Lucas have also begun to see themselves in heated disagreements following the drama between their married sons, Sonny (Freddie Smith) and Will (Guy Wilson).

Paul Makes A Confession To Sonny

Now, after learning from Will that Adrienne knew about Sonny and Paul's (Christopher Sean) history long ago, Lucas is once again at her home, asking her why she kept something so big a secret, and even pretended she had never even heard of Paul when he first came to town. Lucas will also take things one step further and blame Adrienne for the affair Will had with Paul, claiming if Will had known who Paul was, he never would have strayed from Sonny.

However, as the two begin to reconcile their differences and learn that they can't truly blame one another for what happened with their sons, they will begin to grow closer again-and finally, after months of keeping their attraction at bay, they will give in to their feelings and finally make love for the first time.

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
