Yandy and Mendeecees of VH1's Love & Hip Hop New York continue planning their wedding as new reports concerning his federal case surface.

It looks like Mendeecees is cooperating with authorities and inching his way closer to snagging a plea deal. He was jailed for about a year for his alleged involvement in a drug ring. After lots of drama and back-and-forth, Yandy bailed him out.

But it wasn't cheap - it cost her $600,000. Two other men arrested in the case have already been sentenced to multiple years behind bars. But Mendeecees might be singing a different song as he might accept a plea deal offered by a federal prosecutor.

U.S. Attorney Frank Sherman said, "We've been discussing resolving the case," according to Democrat & Chronicle Thursday.

Still, the head of Mendeecees's legal team said he's not so quick to sign. Instead, he has to look it over. But it's likely he'll make a decision by April 21.

He has already negotiated with prosecutors to give the money he has made from Love & Hip Hop New York and other promotional appearances. It's racked up to $103,000 as of late.

But the couple is still all smiles despite the legal battle that seems to be looming over them. Yandy just gave birth to their second child together, Skylar Smith, earlier this year. They are also parents to Amir. Mendeecees has an older son, Lil Mendeecees, from a previous relationship as well. Mendeecees and Yandy are engaged and plan to wed later this year.
