Sackhoff, who plays Victoria "Vic" Moretti on Longmire, reposted a tweet from Netflix on Tuesday and related it to the Western drama.

"Netflix members watched 10 billion hours last quarter," the tweet said. "That's about 905,892,833 seasons of @HouseofCards. Get writing, @BeauWillimon!"

Sackhoff added her own spin on the statistic, tweeting "Here comes Longmire!"

As of Tuesday afternoon Sackhoff's message has received over 120 favorites and 30 retweets. She also received several supportive replies from Longmire fans. "Can't wait for the new season! Glad you're all back on board," one fan wrote.

Another tweeted, "very excited for more #Longmire. Was bummed out to hear A&E dropped it, especially at the point they did."

A third follower tweeted, "Love Longmire, and T.V without Katee is just not worth watching x".

Netflix picking up Longmire also seems to have converted one of Sackhoff's followers to subscribe to the popular website.

"Guess it's finally time to get Netflix. Love that show," the follower said.

Longmire was canceled by A&E back in August after three seasons, despite being the highest rated scripted show on the network. Netflix swooped in and picked it up in November after a valiant campaign from the show's diehard fans.

Season 4 of Longmire is expected to be released in late 2015 on Netflix, though the streaming site has not yet announced a specific release date. The season could potentially be unveiled in early 2016.
