The Young and the Restless has a knack for mixing intense drama and confusion otherwise known as the murders of Austin (Matthew Atkinson) and Courtney (Kelli Goss) with such trivial matters such as Jack (Peter Bergman) wanting Kyle (Lachlan Buchanan) to take a big position at Jabot.

The mystery remains behind who is responsible for killing Austin and Courtney and what both of the now deceased knew, but some typical family drama is brewing in Genoa City.

According to Soaps, Kyle and Jack will have a bit of an argument about Kyle's future at Jabot and the threat against the company coming from Victor (Eric Braeden).

Kyle just wants to go see Summer (Hunter King), but Jack will insist on them talking about the business.

In the sneak peek teaser video below Kyle tells Jack, "It's my life. My decisions. And what's the big rush?"

"Our company is being threatened," Jack replies.

Despite Kyle's lacking interest in Jabot, he will agree to go to a charity function.

Also in this episode, Summer will confide in her dad Nick (Joshua Morrow) about Noah (Robert Adamson) and Courtney. She will also mention how much Kyle has helped her get through everything that has been happening since Valentine's Day.

Kyle will eventually show up at Summer's place and the two will discuss their parents, which will lead to Kyle mentioning the charity function. Summer will tell him she'll go to it with him.

The possible romantic relationship between Kyle and Summer is continuing to bud since he'll compliment her beauty when he picks her up for the charity function.

The Young and the Restless airs on weekdays at 12:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
