'Supernatural' Season 10 Spoilers: Benny's Back! 'Werther Project' Purgatory PHOTOS Revealed

New photos from the set of the season 10 finale have officially cranked our fear levels up to 11. It looks like the Winchester bros. will be in for a tough time during "My Brother's Keeper," particularly now that Julian Richings has joined the cast for the May 20 episode.

Death may be the nicest horseman to ride out of the Apocalypse, but the very nature of his job instills a cold dread in viewers. Richings appearance on set (see photo here) comes as the CW drama gears up for its most "traumatic" finale since "Swan Song."

However, Death isn't always the bad guy. Despite his reputation for literally taking your breath away, the eons old figure has helped the Winchesters out of a few tight jams. Rescuing Sam's (Jared Padalecki) soul from hell and fooling with the lunar cycle to reopen the gate to purgatory are listed among the horseman's greatest hits.
