Holly Madison Calls Life At Playboy Mansion A 'Nightmare'

During the show, the former Girls Next Door star, who has admitted to having a breast augmentation and nose job, revealed her thoughts about the physical pressures of the Playboy lifestyle.

"I saw a lot of girls come through there that were published as Playmates, and they looked great naturally, and they just started picking at themselves, and kept getting thing, after thing, after thing done," Madison recalled, according to an E! News report on Thursday. "I think, you know, being surrounded by so many beautiful women, and being in the kind of atmosphere, where youth and your looks are valued so much, sometimes people start picking a little too much. I'm glad I stopped when I did."

Holly Madison Re-Tweets Message About Having The 'Strength To Succeed'

Earlier this year, Madison, who lived at the Playboy mansion for years as one of the girlfriends of Hugh Hefner, revealed plans for a new memoir, Down the Rabbit Hole: Curious Adventures and Cautionary Tales of a Former Playboy Bunny, which will be released on June 23.

"I’m excited to finally share my story and what I’ve learned from my personal experiences both inside and outside of the Playboy Mansion," Madison explained to Us Weekly last month. "I think my stories will surprise people and I’m looking forward to lifting the veil of mystique and clearing up the misconceptions so often associated with my life."

Also during her Good Work interview, Madison revealed she is no longer in touch with her former Girls Next Door co-star, Kendra Wilkinson.
