She is the reason he even learned he had a son, but all of Melanie's (Molly Burnett) hard work trying to reunite Brady (Eric Martsolf) with his infant son could have backfired on her on Days of Our Lives.

After confirming all of her suspicions about Clint and Dr. Mandrake, Melanie realized that Brady and Theresa (Jen Lilley) had indeed conceived a child together, one that had been stolen from them by Kristen (Eileen Davidson). When she had the proof she needed, she told Brady about the situation, and the two wound up at Kristen's Italian castle to get the child back. The fight took some unexpected turns when they realized Theresa had been tricked into going there as well, and Marlena (Deidre Hall) mistakenly arrived expecting to find John (Drake Hogestyn). 

After a fight ensued, Clint and Kristen were both killed--and Brady and Theresa were allowed to bring their son home, back to Salem.  

Theresa Is Finally Reunited With Her Son

However, now that the two are officially parents together, Melanie is potentially being left out, and as a result, she may now be worrying if she genuinely still has a place in Brady's life. While his having a son wouldn't normally take him away from Melanie, the bond he once shared with Theresa could. 

Theresa has made no secret of the fact that she still has unresolved feelings for her baby's father, and though Brady has since truly fallen for Melanie, he has always still cared deeply about Theresa deep down. Now, the bond the two have could grow stronger because they have a family together--and Melanie could soon find herself alone.
