Craig Foster is returning to Ink Master- is he going to slay the competition this season?

'Ink Master' Season 6 Gets Official Premiere Date

On Tuesday, a clip from Spike TV was released that shows Foster as the apprentice with Miami Burgess as the master. Burgess has more than two decades worth of experience in tattooing where some of his unique creations were shown. He also has no boundaries when it comes to inking up skin.

"I love to tattoo. I do every style," the artist said. "I've done this basically my whole life. I've done art my whole life. I've taught Craig Foster everything he knows."

'Ink Master' Gets Renewed For A Sixth Year

Foster is known for doing some colorfully rare tattoos, and he'll probably have to up his game this season since it didn't workout for him in Season 3. The video shows why he was eliminated from the race before, which had to due with his lack of making black and grey. When he was in the pin-up challenge, he was let go and the judges didn't seem too confident that he could win.

But he's back and is looking up to Burgess for help. These two are going to have big challenges ahead of them, and for the most part, Burgess sounds like he knows what he's doing. But his apprentice might have a few tricks up his sleeve that could score him a longer round in the competition.

Ink Master premieres on Tuesday, June 23 at 10 p.m. ET on Spike TV.
