Thomas Ravenel regrets allowing his breakup to play out on Facebook.

Kathryn Dennis & Thomas Ravenel's Relationship Takes A Turn For The Worse

Throughout Southern Charm season two, Ravenel's relationship with Kathryn Dennis has been strained, and during filming, the couple called it quits. However, their drama was not confined to the cameras. Instead, it was seen online, as well.

"Perhaps I should've just texted her," Ravenel admitted of his breakup during an interview with Bravo on Monday. "My impulse was fueled by emotions which turned into the action of breaking up on Facebook. I regret that. I could have put myself on a 24 hour wait list for breaking up. I could have handled the situation better by taking the time to think about how I felt."

Ravenel and Dennis began dating during the first season of Southern Charm, which saw what was supposed to be a one-night stand turn into a relationship after the couple learned of Dennis' pregnancy. After welcoming daughter Kensie last year, the pair appeared to be doing well, but once filming on season two began, their relationship took a turn for the worse.

As for his future in politics, Ravenel explained, "I love politics, interacting with people and the challenge of creating solid changes in the government. However, if I do get the urge to run again I am going to start flushing 100 dollar bills down the toilet until the urge passes."
