During the first couple of episodes of the MTV reality show, the former couple bickered over their co-parenting relationship and scheduled visitation for their 6-year-old son, Bentley. Luckily, by the end of filming, they were in a better place.

“He’s doing, in my opinion, much better than he ever has,” Bookout told Dr. Drew during last night's premiere of the Teen Mom OG: Reunion, via Us Weekly. “There’s not tension here like there used to be. I don’t hate his guts, like I used to. He doesn’t think I’m the devil, or at least I think he doesn’t.”

Also during the show, Edwards revealed he's in agreement with Bookout's decision to ban their son from filming now that Farrah Abraham has returned.

“I think if MTV is going to do a TV show on preventing having kids, why bring someone back that is gonna do a porn or sell their artificial body part on the Internet? She’s making a killing off it. Why do that?”

Bookout chose to take Bentley off the show mid-way through filming after being informed by producers that Abraham would resume filming. When Bookout agreed to do the show, she was told Abraham would not be a part of the series.
