Dancing With the Stars pro Tony Dovolani would love for Caitlyn Jenner to compete on the show.

Dovolani made an appearance on The Wendy Williams Show this week where he discussed Jenner with host Wendy Williams.

"First of all, I just want to say, what a brave person, you know?" Dovolani said. "For Bruce to expose himself and become Caitlyn and all that in such a public way, I think he's going to be inspiring a lot of people out there."

Williams suggested that Jenner be on the show as a celebrity dancer competing for the Mirrorball trophy.

"Absolutely," Dovolani said in response. "Why not? We're ground-breaking people."

Williams said that either Dovolani or Maks Chmerkovskiy should be Jenner's partner, since she is a bigger woman. While Chmerkovskiy has left the show, Dovolani was receptive to the idea of partnering with Jenner.

Dancing With the Stars previously featured a transgender celebrity, so it actually would not be breaking new ground. Chaz Bono was a competitor in the 13th season of DWTS, partnered with Lacey Schwimmer, coming in seventh place.

Additionally, Jenner has previously said in the past that she would love to do Dancing With the Stars. A source told Us Weekly last year that Jenner was "dying to do it," and that "the show is close to locking him in." Of course this didn't end up happening, but now that Jenner has achieved even greater media attention, it's possible they will want to get her on the show even more.

Dancing With the Stars returns for a new season Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC this fall.
