He had every intention of marrying Tracy (Jane Elliott) and finally have the happily ever after they didn't get to enjoy because of his break with reality, but now things are once again over between she and Luke (Anthony Geary) on General Hospital.

During their engagement party, things were interrupted by Luke's long ago other love, Laura (Genie Francis), and after the two spoke in private, Luke informed Tracy he was calling off the deal, where they would be engaged for 30 days.

Now, he will have to answer some tough questions about why exactly he is calling things off.

"Why are you doing this to my mother?" Dillon (Robert Palmer Watkins) demands to know in a preview clip for the Tuesday, June 9 episode.

Now, Luke will have to explain what Laura said to him to get him to call things off--and it could involve the two needing to revisit their adventurous past to save some others they may love. As a result, it could force Luke to tap back into his dark side once more--and that would violate the terms of his 30-day deal with Tracy, which is prompting him to call the entire wedding off.

Meanwhile, the scheme they will be trying to fight could somehow tie back to the original one that involved the Cassadine takeover of ELQ--and Dillon will become the new sitting duck for the Cassadines to target.

"Dillon's stock may just be ripe for the picking," Nikolas (Tyler Christopher) says to Rosalie (Linda Elena Tobar) in the clip.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
