According to a new report, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians matriarch is planning to use the youngest of the Kardashian children to steal the spotlight from her ex-husband, Caitlyn Jenner, during her upcoming appearance at the 2015 ESPY Awards.

“Rob has no interest in going to the ESPY awards and going on stage,” an insider told Radar Online. “Rob fully supports Caitlyn, but remains in a dark place and doesn’t want to go out in public because he isn’t comfortable with his physical appearance.”

Radar Online's source claimed the rest of the family is expected to join Caitlyn on stage, and Kris wants him on stage, as well. So far, however, "he has shut it down," and reportedly done so in order to not upstage his step-father as she accepts the Arthur Ashe Courage Award.

“Rob will get back on track according to his terms, and no one else’s,” the source said. “Rob thinks it’s twisted that his mom wants to use him to upstage Caitlyn’s big night.”

After Caitlyn's ESPY Award appearance was announced, she released a statement, which read, “In the past few months, the overwhelming outpouring of support from all over the world for my journey has been incredible. However, being honored with this award, which is named after one of my heroes, is truly special. For the first time this July, I will be able to stand as my true self in front of my peers.”
