"Living Barbie" doll Valeria Lukyanova is being watched by Ukraine's Secret Service, according to a fashion magazine that knows a person familiar with her whereabouts.

Lukyanova, who gained Internet popularity this year for her convincing Barbie looks, has all it's activities monitored by the Secret Service, according to V Magazine which claims officials warned them to keep away from her.

"Be careful," we were warned. "We're worried for you, and do not want you to suffer from her."

The Secret Service usually investigates criminal cases such as financial crimes, (credit card fraud, computer fraud and bank fraud) and death threats to Presidents or people protected by the service, but so far it is unclear whether Lukyanova has been accused of any of them in Ukrania.

In the past, many people believed Lukyanova was a scam until V Magazine published the feature on her website.

In May of this year a Canadian man claimed Lukyanova tried to scam him.

"It's all a scam and it is fake," Tony Oxley, a school board caretaker told the Canadian news outlet QMI Agency. "This same woman tried to get money from me a couple of weeks ago."

He said that in a message that appeared in his e-mail Lukyanova claimed to have found her true love and wanted money to travel to Canada to see him.

"I played her along for a little while and she sent me more pictures," he said. "She then wanted $900 to buy airline tickets to come to Canada to be with me."

Oxley said he sent QMI Agency some of the same photos she posted to her Facebook site, along with her expressions of eternal love and requests for money.

"I don't think she is real, and I am convinced she is a scam targeting people," he said on Saturday. "People should be careful and not send money to anyone they meet by e-mail."

Lukyanova resides in Odessa, Ukraine, according to V Magazine. In an interview with the magazine she said besides being a model and a musician, she is a  teacher at the "School of Out-of-Body Travel."

"It's an international school in which our instructors show students how to leave their physical body and travel in their spiritual body, where you can visit any place on the planet and in the universe," she explained to V Magazine.

"I know that this is the future of mankind and that it has huge potential. Hidden reserves will be tapped soon."

In the interview she shut down rumors that she has had plastic surgery and rather said her body is the result of "hard work."
