There's been hints she may be trouble for her newfound cousin's marriage, but Valerie (Brytni Sarpi) could cause a lot of romantic problems as she continues building a new life for herself in Port Charles on General Hospital.

She has become very close to Lulu's (Emmee Rylan) husband, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) while she's been in town, and is now working side by side with him at the Port Charles Police Department, which will likely cause more tension in his marriage. However, according to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, there is a chance that Valerie could rip apart another couple instead--because she has a history with another Port Charles police detective that was previously unknown.

The website reveals that Valerie and Nathan (Ryan Paevy) had a previous relationship back before their days in Port Charles, when both lived in New York City--a romance that eventually didn't work out.  The first hint of this came when Valerie interviewed for her job and mentioned she knew Nathan in addition to Dante, though she has never actually spent time with him since arriving in Port Charles. If the two had a prior romance, the fact that it was never brought up to Maxie (Kirsten Storms) could cause problems for her and Nathan.

As a result, Valerie working closely by both Dante and Nathan's sides could cause the women in their lives to begin acting irrationally because of their jealousy. And with Lulu's past love Dillon (Robert Palmer Watkins) also arriving back in Port Charles, it could truly cause some problems in the couple's formerly rock solid marriage.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
