Shannon Beador is putting the blame on herself for her husband David Beador's cheating ways. The Real Housewives of Orange County star says that if she were a "better wife," than perhaps her husband would have been more faithful to her.

According to Us Weekly's print edition this week (via Celebitchy), Shannon makes it clear that she thinks their marital issues are completely her fault. The couple have been married for over 14 years and it wasn't until Shannon caught David secretly texting his mistress did she find out that he was having an extra marital affair.

Admitting that they would fight about everything from sex to spending time together, she said, "If I had been an amazing wife, he wouldn't have gone elsewhere."

Shannon Beador Tweets About David's Infidelity

During an interview with Us Weekly on Wednesday, the 51-year-old reality star explained why she and David didn't "toss their marriage in the trash" after his affair.

She said, "After I found out about the infidelity, we had some bumps back and forth and we finally ended up at a place called Couples Retreat. They have a 90 percent success rate with repairing marriages and we went through the process and it was eye-opening for the both of us and we received some tools that would help us repair our marriage."
