One of the new twists on CBS's Big Brother 17 may involve the inclusion of two more houseguests.

CBS Has Revealed The Houseguests Of 'Big Brother 17'

Big Brother fans have been speculating about why there are only 14 houseguests entering the house this summer. The past three seasons have each featured 16 cast members each and considering the amount of weeks hasn't changed for BB17, some believe that there could be two additional houseguests entering the house at some point.

Leading more credence to this possibility is one of the new promotional photos of the Big Brother house. The photo is a shot of the new memory wall, and there are clearly 16 key slots. Why would they need those extra two slots if there are only 14 houseguests?

This may be part of the BB Takeover concept that was just announced Wednesday. The CBS press release states that mystery guests will show up in the house every week to introduce new twists, and first up, there will be two guests in the two-night premiere. Could those two guests be announcing that they are coming in to live in the Big Brother house?

"This is going to be the biggest Big Brother ever! Surprise guests, twists every week all summer long, and, of course, Zingbot!" executive producer Rich Meehan said in a statement. "But the houseguests better keep their focus, because Big Brother is all about relationships. Trust me, with all the new twists and turns, those bonds will be more important than ever, because, at the end of the week, it's your housemates that send you packing on eviction night."

All will likely be revealed on the two-night premiere, which airs Wednesday, June 24 and Thursday, June 25 at 8 p.m. ET/PT respectively on CBS.
