Chmerkovskiy reportedly told In Touch (via OK! Magazine) recently that he would like to dance with Jenner if she were to compete on Dancing With the Stars.

"I'll be Cait's partner for sure," he said. "I've proven I can win the show, and I would love to have an opportunity to win it with someone that nobody else believes can do it."

There is no indication that Jenner wants to do Dancing With the Stars, but it would certainly be an interesting venue for her to show off a new talent.

"She and I won't physically match but I volunteer," Chmerkovskiy added. "As long as you have the right energy, I am in it to win it."

Chmerkovskiy is coming off his first win on Dancing With the Stars since joining the show in 2011. He was partnered with Rumer Willis and the pair went on to win the Mirrorball trophy. While Chmerkovskiy has nowhere to go but down after this spring season, having a partner like Jenner would certainly be an invaluable experience for the pro dancer.

Dancing With the Stars has actually featured a transgender celebrity on the show previously. Chaz Bono competed in the show's 13th season and came in seventh place with his partner Lacey Schwimmer.

Dancing With the Stars returns for another season on Monday, Sept. 14 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
