Is Tamra Barney creating fake story lines for The Real Housewives of Orange County?

Why Is Tamra Barney Questioning Brooks Ayers' Cancer Diagnosis?

Following the release of the season 10 trailer, which included Barney getting baptised, and then running down a pier in a thong, the reality star and mother of four was accused of pretending to have found religion. However, according to Barney, her "new leaf" story line is completely legit.

“Ha! It’s not my ‘story line,’ I happen to get baptized at the end of the season,” Barney told Rumorfix on Tuesday, proclaiming the rumor “clearly came from someone that knows nothing about my story line...Kind of like the story I got fired last year? Lol. Or that my husband was divorcing me. Clearly someone has to much time on their hands and were bit jealous.”

The fake story line allegations first surfaced weeks ago.

“She says she’s found religion,” the insider old In Touch Weekly, via Radar Online. “But her ‘new leaf’ story line is completely fake. She thinks the audience is stupid and will believe whatever she says. It’s disgusting.”

According to a Classicalite report last month, Barney's former co-stars, Lydia McLaughlin and Alexis Bellino, recently addressed news of her baptism.

McLaughlin said, "I just wrote a book, Beyond Orange County, about my faith. Now that Tamra got baptized, I'm wondering if she read my book and got inspired!"

Added Bellino, "I cannot believe that, but more power to her. Soul saved. That's what matters. Let's just hope her actions stay with what a baptism really means."
