In a matchup that will surely garner attention on a worldwide scale, the England Squad will face off against Sweden on Wednesday at Rasunda Stadium.  The English are looking to pull out a victory for a chance of becoming group winners amid the qualifiers.

As one of only five teams that qualified undefeated for the Euro 2012, England will pose a serious threat to Sweden.  This is a testament to Coach Fabio Capello, who has continued to man the football club in an effective manner.

As of late, the English did pull out a friendly victory over the Swedish, and notably beat them a few months back in a more crucial matchup by a 1-0 margin.

While Sweden has automatically qualified for the Euro 2012, the team hasn't won a game in their group.  They also came up short versus Hungry.  Hence, many football fans are expecting the English to prevail.

Adding to the favoritism, England has averaged over a goal in each of their matches and Sweden sports one of the worst defensive records during the qualifiers; surrendering over a goal a game on average.

The Swedish club will have to go up against the trio of Raheem Sterling, Leon Osman and Steven Caulker, who will all be on the field in Stockholm.  With Osmon being 31-years-old and Sterling at just 17, the team will have the largest age gap between debutants since World War II.

Sterling will actually become the fifth youngest international player for England to start a match.  The accomplishment speaks volumes, as he recently played for a Liverpool youth squad just last year in February.
