The man behind Jasper dropped by the series' writers' room on Tuesday to meet with showrunner Jason Rothenberg, and it seems the actor received some tantalizing news.

"Just met w boss man @JRothenbergTV, very excited for Season 3!" Bostick tweeted. "I think now is an appropriate time to say f-ck yeah #The100."

When season 2 came to a close, Jasper was not in a good place emotionally. He had just watched his closest friend aid in the death of his girlfriend and, to make it worse, the teen had to sit by as the life slipped out of Maya's (Eve Harlow) eyes. In the wake of the Mount Weather massacre, the effervescent side of the original 100 will certainly be at odds with Monty (Christopher Larkin), Bellamy (Bob Morley), and Clarke (Eliza Taylor) (see video below).

"It's gonna be rough for Jasper. Might be awhile till we see another Monty/Jasper high-5," Rothenberg teased, later telling Access Hollywood that the pair's relationship "is going to be very, very strained now going forward and I'm sure we haven't seen the last of it. I'm sure that things will transpire in the coming season to like push them back together - I hope, anyway."
