Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey have managed to be peaceful amid their split, but now it’s been revealed what he really thinks about her new billionaire boyfriend.

Carey is rumored to be dating Australian James Packer and one insider told E! News Cannon’s thoughts on there new romance.

They said Tuesday, “Nick and Mariah are on better terms these days. Mariah is in really good spirits and there has not been arguments with them for sometime now. Nick is doing really wel in his personal life and he just wants Mariah to be happy. He feels as long as his kids are in good hands, he will support any decision Mariah makes.”

They added that the idea of Carey being happy (even if it is with another man) puts a smile on Cannon’s face.

“Mariah will always be in Nick’s life that will never change. It makes Nick happy that Mariah is in a great place in her life between work and love. He will always love her and support her no matter what happened between their relationship in the past.”

As for Carey and Packer, they recently enjoyed a little time in Israel with Carey and Cannon’s twins, Moroccan and Monroe. They specifically stopped by Jerusalem and even the Western Wall. They also enjoyed time on a yacht in Ibiza, Spain.

Still, the relationship is pretty casual for Packer and the Grammy Award winning singer.

“They are not talking marriage..She’s enjoying his company…This trip is a chance for her to really get to know him…She’s having a lot of fun being courted!”
