The Newmans and Abbotts usually have clear lines drawn with who is on their respective sides, but things are getting more complex in Genoa City in the upcoming week's episodes and those usually clear sides will become less than clear.

Will Cane & Lauren End Up Together On 'The Young and the Restless'?

On Thursday night The Young and the Restless Twitter teased a photo of Kyle (Lachlan Buchanan) and Abby (Melissa Ordway) together looking a bit perplexed.

"Confessions, new love and jealousy shake things up next week," was the text tweeted with the photo.

Will Jack Or His Doppelganger Die On 'The Young and the Restless'?

Later on that night, a teaser video was uploaded to The Young and the Restless YouTube channel to tease the upcoming week's episodes.

In the trailer, it appears as though Lily (Christel Khalil) will come clean to Cane (Daniel Goddard) about her infidelity with Joe (Scott Elrod).

"What's the matter?" Cane asks Lily, trying to console her as she works up the courage to share the truth.

"I don't think you're gonna want to go on a vacation with me when I tell you," she responds to him, before adding, "I've been unfaithful."

Cane does not look pleased with that information.

It also appears as though Noah (Robert Adamson) is moving on from Courtney (Kelli Goss) with Marisa (Sofia Pernas) of all people. It seems weird that Noah would be attracted to Marisa since she's nothing like Courtney. Plus, he's still not aware of Marisa's connection to Courtney's death. Though her connection is only by association since she was Marco's (Peter Bergman) lover.

It seems like Marisa might be seducing him next week as she tells him, "I'm going to take a nice, long, hot shower."

"That's a good idea," he tells her in response and they look as though they want and need each other.

Victor (Eric Braeden) will tell Neil (Kristoff. St. John) to back off in a sense since he's unhappy with the interference Neil has been running between him and his wife Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). Neil is usually on Victor's side always, but he seems to have grown a fondness in trying to keep Nikki sober. Victor usually tends to partially be the cause in Nikki's abundant alcohol consumption.

"No one comes between me and my wife," Victor tells Neil.

Plus, based on the trailer, a bomb is going to drop in Genoa City during the episode airing on Monday, July 13. Gabriel's true identity of Adam (both characters portrayed by Justin Hartley) will be revealed. It looks like Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) will be emotionally distraught.

With that in mind, more clues and speculation will probably be dropped in this upcoming week about the other Genoa City residents questioning who Gabriel really is.

The Young and the Restless airs on weekdays at 12:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
