Orlando Scandrick has broken his silence after Draya Michele called him out for making her a “clown” in his media “circus.”

Orlando Scandrick Calls Off Engagement Just Days After Draya Michele Gushd About Wedding

He spoke with TMZ amid all of the drama Thursday and said, “I want to apologie for my original statement. I let my emotions fly impulsively. Draya is a great mother, works hard and I wish her nothing but the best. I still love her.”

His comments come after Draya was accused of faking the engagement for publicity. The two had been engaged for less than a month before he told the site that he broke it off because it was a “poor decision.” But the wedding plans were shocking to begin with because last fans knew the couple had split. There was no word of them being back together until Draya announced that they were getting married.

Still, Scandrick, who plays for the Dallas Cowboys, defended Draya and said that he actually did pop the question.

“I purchased the ring. I proposed. There was no cheating involved, we just couldn’t make it work.”

Interestingly enough, while he said he still has “love” for her, he definitely sang a different tune on her Instagram page yesterday. He commented on what of her photos in which she realized that she couldn’t change others and wrote, “[forget] you”

The two have been going back and forth with their relationship for more than two years. And we might not have heard the last of it. Draya is set to star in the upcoming season of Basketball Wives LA on VH1. Considering Scandrick has been on the series before, it wouldn’t be too surprising if he made a few appearances or even was just a topic of conversation. See one of his most memorable moments below.
