Matt Bomer revealed that he is not the type of man who will let fear stand in his way of anything.

On Saturday, 3 News posted an interview with the actor and his Magic Mike XXL co-star Donald Glover as they dished on the film as well as how Bomer feels when it comes to taking risks. In his perspective, if there's something that gives him a fright, that makes him want it more.

"I think always if something scares me, I'm immediately drawn to it," the actor said. "And then I ask why does it scare me, and if the answer to that is interesting, then I will probably do the job."

Bomer, who's married to publicist Simon Halls, reprised his role as Ken in the risque sequel, and mentioned that his connection to Glover's character made the film more enthralling to be a part of. Bomer explained why he was a big fan of Ken's connection with Glover due to the stripper becoming a better performer.

"I love the relationship of our characters though because he certainly enlightens my character to stop doing all of this stale showmanship and listen to what people want," Bomer explained. "Be authentic to yourself and what you bring to the table and for me, I have so much respect for him as an artist that relationship sort of just naturally happens as we're filming."

Magic Mike XXL is currently in theaters.
