On Saturday, Michelle Knight, who was the first of Ariel Castro's victims to be captured in a suburban house, took to her Facebook page to post a photo of herself where she is all smiles. She dons a plaid button-up shirt and flaunts her pearly white teeth and looks joyful to be alive and healthy.

In the caption, she wrote, "Have a great safe weekend god bless."

Knight was kidnapped and chained to a bed along with Gina DeJesus and Amanda Berry for approximately a decade before the girls managed to escape. The story became one of the most harrowing tales of the generation and even got turned into a Lifetime film called Cleveland Abduction.

Orange is the New Black star Taryn Manning played Knight in the film and had the pleasure of meeting the young woman who found her victory.

"You would think that this girl was never out of society for a decade. She's up to date on everything," Manning told People. "She's an awesome person, probably one of the most positive people that I've ever met."

The actress admitted she was nervous about meeting Knight, but they hit it off and became good friends.
