They believed they had worked through their recent misunderstandings and problems in their marriage, but things are only going to continue getting worse for Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Lulu (Emme Rylan) on General Hospital.

Dante Comes Clean To Lulu About Valerie

After Dante initially berated Lulu for leaving like she did with Dillon (Robert Palmer Watkins) and accused her of having an affair, she told him why she really left--to save her brother, Lucky (Jonathan Jackson). After the two talked things over they finally seemed to be back on the same page--though Dante was keeping a major secret from his wife about how he really coped with his suspicions that she was cheating--by sleeping with her cousin, Valerie (Brytni Sarpi).

However, after Carly (Laura Wright) stopped by and accidentally revealed that Dante had kissed Valerie --unaware he'd also gone further than that--Lulu learned some of the truth. And now, she has confronted her husband about the incident--and he may be forced to actually come clean to her despite knowing how much it will hurt their relationship and their future.

Dante Accuses Lulu Of Lying To Him About Dillon

"Do you think you can forgive me?" Dante asks Lulu in a preview clip for the Monday, July 13 episode.

However, Lulu will have a condition for the forgiveness--that nothing else happened.

Meanwhile, Valerie is trying to cope with the fact that Dante told her nothing else could happen between the two of them--and having a hard time.

"Dante just called the whole thing off," she says to Jordan (Vinessa Antoine) in the clip.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
