At the recently held Comic-Con, actor Dylan Bruce settled the matter of his character, Paul Dierden's death in the finale of season 3 of Orphan Black.

Season 4 To Introduce A 'New Kind Of Enemy'?

Bruce, who was present at the event, sadly confirmed that Paul was actually dead and that there weren't any chances of his miraculous resuscitation. In fact he revealed that he was informed about his character's death last year itself. Entertainment Weekly caught Bruce's comments on the subject at the event. "I'm going out like a boss," the actor joked. The report goes on to reveal that he was genuinely sad about having to leave the series.

The issue of another main character's supposed death was also raised at the event, but this one might still be breathing.

Co-creator Graeme Manson particularly had something to say about Delphine (Evelyne Brochu) being alive. The co-creator was cryptic but it seems like he was hinting at Delphine being resuscitated for the next chapter. The Hollywood Reporter reported from the event and got some of Manson's key comments on the subject.

"Nobody's safe on the show, but she's Orphan Black dead," he said.

Showrunner John Fawcett chimed in, suggesting that he very happy about the fan response to Delphine's purported death.

"It's great - I love that you're all up in arms about it," he said. "It's a mystery, guys. There's a reason why there's a mystery."

The finale of season 3 aired on June 20.
