The new girl on VH1’s Basketball Wives LA is already stirring up drama with her co-stars but Mehgan James doesn’t seem to care and the tension will only go up from here.

Mehgan James Is Ready To Turn Up Drama With Draya Michele ‘She Doesn't Like Competition'

Mehgan ruffled some of her new cast members’ feathers when she joined the show as a friend of Jackie Christie. Given that none of the co-stars were too fond of Jackie at the moment, Mehgan coming on as an ally wasn’t necessarily a good look for her at first.

But while Mehgan, who has also starred in Oxygen’s Bad Girls Club claimed she didn’t know Jackie at first, she doesn’t seem to care about their connection and kept the drama going with the ladies.

Mehgan, who describes herself as, “creative, loud, funny, interesting” and even “evil” said that she relates to Malaysia the most out of the group.

VH1 also revealed, “Mehgan James is fresh to the scene in LA and looking to make friends. A friend Jackie Christie, Mehgan immediately starts stirring up trouble for herself when the other ladies start to question where her alliances lie. Mehgan, not ever one to hold her tongue or shy away from getting physical, immediately rubs Draya the wrong way. Is there room in the LA group for this newbie or will her outspoken ways land her in hot water?”

It looks like Draya is the only one who has an issue with Mehgan. In one clip of the show, she calls out Brandi Maxiell and Malaysia for befriending her.
