Lady Gaga recently posted a photo of a script for the next season of FX's American Horror Story, titled Hotel.

Gaga has joined the cast of American Horror Story for the upcoming fifth season, and she is clearly excited about it. The singer posted a new photo on Instagram Wednesday, featuring the cover page of an AHS script.

"Just doing a bit of monster homework Horrible lipstick accident. #AHS", she wrote in the caption.

The photo shows the script looking all bloodied up, which was probably an artistic endeavor on the part of Gaga. The title of the episode is Checking In and while the episode number is not featured, the title seems to suggest that it might be the premiere.

Production on Hotel is beginning this month. It remains to be seen how big of a role Gaga will have in the new season, though some are thinking she may be the new leading lady. That would be a big risk, considering she has had very few acting credits prior to this. However, her theatrical performing style and outlandish outfits should be more than enough preparation for the campy horror series.

Gaga will be joined by several big name stars in Hotel, including Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Matt Bomer, Denis O'Hare, Wes Bentley, Cheyenne Jackson, Chloë Sevigny and Max Greenfield.

American Horror Story: Hotel premieres in October on FX, though the network has yet to announce a premiere date.
