HBO NOW is expanding its distribution, with Android and Amazon Fire users now able to download a subscription to their devices.

HBO announced Thursday that their new HBO NOW subscription service is now available on Android and Amazon Fire devices. Customers can now use their Android phone or tablet or Amazon Fire tablet to get HBO NOW.

Download the HBO NOW app from the Google Play store for Android products or the Amazon Appstore for Amazon Fire. Once downloaded, customers will begin a 30-day introductory free trial.

The subscription is $14.99 per month and gives the user thousands of hours of HBO programming, including Game of Thrones, True Detective, Silicon Valley, Veep, Girls, The Jinx, The Leftovers and many more. You can even watch older HBO series like The Sopranos, Deadwood, Six Feet Under, The Wire and Sex and the City.

There is also a wide selection of films to choose from, including Birdman, Gone Girl, X-Men: Days of Future Past and more.

None of this requires a pricey cable subscription, which has prevented some customers from purchasing HBO in the past.

The inclusion of Android and Amazon devices joins previously available devices iPhone, iPad and Apple TV. More devices like Android TV, Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick.

All that is needed to stream this HBO content is an Internet connection.
