So much has been happening in Genoa City with Jack (Peter Bergman), Victor (Eric Braeden) and Gabriel/Adam (Justin Hartley), but other big storylines have been playing out too.

Will Cane & Lauren End Up Together On 'The Young and the Restless'?

On the episode airing today, July 17, Avery (Jessica Collins) will be taking responsibility for her recent actions.

She has been an emotional wreck as of lately and blamed Joe (Scott Elrod) for raping her when he didn't.

Will Victor Tell Nikki The Truth When She Visits Him At GCPD On 'The Young and the Restless'?

According to Soaps, Avery will talk to a reporter for peace of mind. She'll even talk to Joe about leaving Genoa City.

Joe will also speak with Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Lily (Christel Khalil) in this episode. In the sneak peek teaser below, Lily asks Joe if Cane is responsible for his black eye.

"Was it Cane? Did he hit you?" she asks him just as Cane appears behind Joe to say, "He deserved a hell of a lot more than that."

Cane and Lily still aren't okay since all the relationship problems Michael (Christian LeBlanc) caused between them. Lily thought Cane was cheating on her with Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) and then she wound up sleeping with Joe.

The couple will continue to argue a lot especially about custody rights.

That aside, the ongoing investigation about Victor shooting Jack will continue of course.

Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) is seen in the sneak peek teaser talking to Jack by his hospital bed about admitting to Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) that he owns a gun.

Also in the teaser, a gun will be recovered by Genoa City Police Department at the penthouse where Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) resides.

The Young and the Restless airs on weekdays at 12:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
