She was forced to breeze through town quickly in an effort to save the life of one of her sons, but now that she's back in Port Charles to stay, Laura (Genie Francis) will focus her attentions on her other son, Nikolas (Tyler Christopher), whose recent behaviors have caused her concern on General Hospital.

Nikolas Confesses To Lucky

She never had a chance to hear from Nikolas about what he meant when he said little Jake's return wasn't dampened by Jason not being around to see his son alive and well, and now, she will return to Nikolas' estate for some answers--though initially, she'll be shocked by the fact that Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) left without saying goodbye.

"Lucky's gone," Nikolas informs his mother in a preview clip for the Monday, July 20 episode.

Liz Stunned By Lucky & Little Jake's Arrival

After she gets over that shock, she will ask Nikolas about what he meant when he referred to Jason--and could be floored if Nikolas confesses the truth to her that Jason is also alive--and is really Jake Doe (Billy Miller)--who has no idea about his real identity.

If he confesses she will then begin to question her son's actions--which have included his taking over ELQ from the Quartermaines--and just how much he has changed since she was last in town. Now, with the knowledge that little Jake had been kept hidden away from his family on Cassadine Island for so many years also tucked away, Laura may wonder if her son has truly embraced the evil side of his heritage--and may be beyond saving.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
