Angus T. Jones apologized for his controversial rant denouncing "Two and a Half Men."

The 19-year-old actor, who plays Jake Harper on the show, was in a video posted on Youtube by the Forerunner Christian Church. During an interview with church members, Jones, a reported member of a Seventh Day Adventist Church in southern California, called the show "filth" and regretted being a part of the cast.

Jones warned the public, saying the following: "If you watch 'Two and a Half Men,' please stop watching it and filling your head with filth. People say it's just entertainment. Do some research on the effects of television and your brain, and I promise you you'll have a decision to make when it comes to television, especially with what you watch."

Since then, Jones released a statement that mentioned the respect he had for the show and his castmates.

"Without qualification, I am grateful to and have the highest regard and respect for all of the wonderful people on 'Two and Half Men' with whom I have worked and over the past ten years who have become an extension of my family, " he said.

Jones has been on the show since 2003 and makes around $350,000 an episode.

"I apologize if my remarks reflect me showing indifference to and disrespect of my colleagues and a lack of appreciation of the extraordinary opportunity of which I have been blessed," Jones said. "I never intended that."

No word yet from studio executives at CBS and Warner Brothers on Jones's comments, but he remains under contract, according to New York Daily News. Former "Two and a Half Men" star Charlie Sheen blasted show creator Chuck Lorre as one of the reasons for Jones's meltdown, saying to TMZ, "I dare anyone to spend ten years in the laugh-track that is Chuck Lorre's hive of oppression and not suffer some form of an emotional tsunami."
