Television stars Leighton Meester and Adam Brody are officially a couple, according to reports.

The actors who co-starred in the 2011 romantic-comedy The Oranges have been "hanging out' and reportedly been seeing each other romantically for a weeks now, a source told US Weekly.

"They were always close and friendly," the insider added, saying the two would often go out on occasions while filming the movie.

The 33-year-old actor, known best for his role as "Seth Colon" on The O.C. in the early 2000's, most famously dated his on-screen love Rachel Bilson. They broke up in 2006. "It was a typical romance and they just grew apart," a source told People Magazine back in 2006.

Brody also previously dated screenwriter Lorene Scafaria.

In 2010, Meester, 26, addressed her "really hard" breakup from former boyfriend Sebastian Stan, and admitted she was having trouble finding the right guy in a romantic relationship.

"I've never really like anybody before. Even when I would date guys, it would sort of be on surface and it was always a relief when we broke," she said in People Magazine in 2010. "If I shut love down or didn't let it in, I would just be this really cold, sad person," she added.

Meester recently dated actor Aaron Himelstein, but went separate ways during the holildays. Seems as though The Gossip Girls actress has already decided to give love another shot.

Brody and Meester have tried to keep the relationship on a low-profile, but reportedly were both seen in Bangkok earlier this year. The couple also attended an art exhibition at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art on Feb. 1 to check out artwork together.

"I think that the importance of love is really strong for me in my life, whether it's a guy or a friend or just my puppy," Meester said during her 2010 People Magazine interview.
