The pop star is not in fact dead, contrary to a new death hoax that had some people convinced.

Even more celebs became the subject of death hoaxes in 2015.

Bill Nye, best known from his children's television show in the 1990s, "Billy Nye The Science Guy," was killed in a balloon accident - a death hoax stated, which is circulated on the web. The news site The Onion "killed" Nye and after the rumors spread to Twitter and many other internet sites, Bye is used his newly-found fame to advocate for a cause he believes in, according to the International Business Times.
