NBC's The Voice season 4 semifinals offered a first- season 4 newcomer coach Usher performed solo for the first time since his stint began. The Top 5 then performed two songs each- one they chose themselves that was dedicated to someone important and the other their coaches selected for them.
The Voice semifinals will offer two new surprises for the first time this season-Usher will perform a solo set live for the first time and song selections will be sung by 5 contestants instead of 4.
