The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice certainly has a fight on her hands as she tries to blame her bankruptcy lawyer for current sentence in federal prison.

James Kridel fired back jus after news hit that Giudice was suing him for malpractice and said he is the reason she is now in jail.

He said the whole lawsuit is”absurd” “frivolous” and has “no merit to it” as he responded in Superior Court in Morristown via a 200 page report earlier this week.

While Giudice said that his “abysmal failure as an attorney” during her bankruptcy case in 2009, forced her to plead guilty to bankruptcy fraud last year, Kridel shared a completely different perspective.

“Everything she pleaded to happened years before we even knew her name. The crimes occurred years before the bankruptcy. All we tried to do was help her. We have to rely on what people say.”

He added that the reality star “was never granted a discharge” during the case because she is the one who decided to remove it.

“That is what she did — she said ‘I really want to pay my creditors. It came as a shock to see what she would sue us. She took responsibility for what she did.”

This isn’t the first time Giudice has tried to sue, but it’s certainly the most brutal. She originally filed a lawsuit in New York but that one was dropped. Kridel said he simply received a “notice of discontinuance.”

But as for this second one, he said “She changed it completely to embellish it and make it rather vicious. It doesn’t sound like something Teresa would write. It sounds like the lawyer, but that’s just my opinion.”
