It looks like reports of that claim Teresa Giudice has banned her sister-in-law and The Real Housewives of New Jersey co-star Melissa Gorga from seeing her in jail are true.

Truth On Who’s To Blame For Teresa Giudice’s Jail Sentence ‘Has Nothing To Do With Her Bankruptcy’

Apparently Giudice doesn’t want Gorga to profit off of her time behind bars.

An insider told In Touch Weekly magazine recently that, “Teresa doesn’t want Melissa using her name for fame.”

Giudice checked into jail on Jan. 5 of this year and is slated to be released just before Christmas. She and her husband Joe Giudice pleaded guilty to fraud charges like bankruptcy and mortgage. Joe is set to start his more than three-year sentence after Teresa is released.

Interestingly enough, Teresa and Gorga have had their differences in the past, even before Teresa and Joe’s legal trouble. But they seemed to bury their drama and overcome their differences in the latest season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey that portrayed how Teresa and her family were coping with her and Joe’s upcoming jail time. But given recent reports that Teresa doesn’t want Gorga to visit her in jail, their makeup might have been temporary.

Still, that hasn’t stopped Gorga from speaking on how Teresa is doing. She’s said that her husband Joe, who is Teresa’s brother, has gone to visit her. She added, “I see the girls a lot…Joe has seen Teresa, he’s been there to visit her, and I think that we are strong as a family, and I think the kids are doing very well, better than we all thought,” she told People on July 23.
