While rumors of Joe Giudice’s infidelity and screaming matches with daughters continue to swirl, the lawyer for his wife Teresa Giudice gives an update on how she’s doing in prison.

James Leonard, Jr., who has given several statuses for Teresa since she went into jail back in January, has said that she’s doing absolutely fine. He told E! News at the New York Fashion Week launch party Wednesday that she is working on her fitness while behind bars.

“She’s doing amazing. She is in absolutely tip top shape. When I go visit her, she always tells me to poke her in the stomach she’s rock hard—mentally, physically, emotionally…”

He added that her physical appearance isn’t the only change we’ll see.

“When she comes home, people are gonna be very surprised. It’s an all new Teresa coming home.”

He also said just before summer that Teresa has been having countless moments of reflection.

“She’s getting back in touch with her faith. She’s spending a lot of time praying in there, and I think the Teresa that comes out of prison is going to wow people.”

Despite speculation that Joe is sinking the family ship with drinking issues, it seems the rumors haven’t stopped Teresa an their family from being happy and awaiting her return.

“I think she’s going ot take it one day at a time, but her focus is, ‘I want to get back to my freedom, I want to get back to my husband, I want to get back to my parents, my children, and then kind of take it as it goes.’”
