There's definitely no hope for the Blue Mountain State Movie being released in 2015, but there could be some new hope for a release in the coming year.

Are 'BMS' Producers Working Out A Deal With DIstributors?

Very few details have been released about why the film, titled The Rise of Thadland, has been so delayed from its initially planned release this past Spring, with only small snippets of information being given out by members of the cast on social media. However, it appears they now have hope for a release in the earlier part of 2016-and could make an announcement about the movie soon.

Darin Brooks, who starred in the original TV series and is reprising his role as Alex Moran in the movie, took to his Twitter account Dec. 22 to speak to his fans from both BMS and The Bold and the Beautiful to ask them what they wanted for Christmas. One wound up responding by asking him what he wanted, and after seeing a lot of responses concerning the movie, Brooks admitted he would love to see the movie be released as well-and hinted there may finally be some news as well.

New Details Released About What's Holding Up 'BMS' Movie

"The @BMSMovie to come out as well!! Haha but I know we'll hear something soon..." he wrote.

It's unclear what Brooks meant by his statement, but if the movie is finally on its way to a release, it would likely be the holiday gift fans have been waiting for after the unexplained long-term delay on the film.
