After waiting for what seemed like forever for any news on the Blue Mountain State: The Rise of Thadland movie, the ways to watch have come flying at fans quickly--and that now includes being able to watch it on Netflix!

Release Date For 'BMS' Movie Confirmed

After initially being available for digital downloads for a fee, those fans who are Netflix subscribers can officially access the movie on their accounts now, for free!

The movie has officially been available for a few days and became so just one month after it had its initial digital release. Naturally, the cast was very excited about the news on social media, encouraging fans to watch as soon as they could log into their Netflix accounts.

The widespread availability of the film now is a massive change from just a few months back, when fans were beginning to wonder if they'd been scammed into providing money for the film when it was announced as a Kickstarter fundraiser. The cast continually said that they ran into problems with their distributors at Lionsgate, until finally being able to release the trailer and the film itself in a short period of time earlier this year. The film was available for purchase on Feb. 2.

There have been no words yet on whether or not success from the movie could bring back a renewed interest in the original TV show, which was canceled after three seasons on Spike.
