Andy Cohen has given fans a front row seat to the legal woes ofThe Real Housewives of New Jersey stars Teresa & Joe Giudice; now the Watch What Happens Live host has dissed the couple for not truly facing their troubles.

Andy Cohen Talks Teresa & Joe GIudice Amid Split Rumors 'It's Hard For Both Of Them'

Cohen is set to release a tell-all book titled The Andy Cohen Diaries: A Deep Look At a Shallow Year. In an entry for Sept. 22, 2013, Cohen wrote about his conversation with the Giudices after they were indicted for 39 counts of fraud.

"It was like pulling teeth. They are either very un-introspective or in complete denial. Or both," he wrote in a precept obtained by Radar Online Wednesday.

He added that he believed the reality stars did not understand just how bad their legal troubles were or the consequences they would face because of their fraudulent activities.

"I said, 'So...you guys are facing fifty years in prison, and they were like, 'is it fifty years? We thought it was a hundred. Is it fifty years both or just me or...' So that's something they are going to want to clarify with their attorneys."

Since their indictment, Joe and Teresa accepted a deal and pleaded guilty to the fraud charges back in March. They were both sentenced on Oct. 2. Teresa got 15 months while Joe was handed three and a half years. Teresa will begin her sentence on Jan. 5 while Joe will begin hers once she is finished.

Cohen conducted their first interview after their sentencing and Teresa admitted she was shocked.

"I mean, it was very unexpected, I don't even know what to say."
